PBBM boosts morale of troops in Cotabato City 4

Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City – September 17, 2022

During his visit to Cotabato City, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. took time to personally engage with the troops of Joint Task Force Central on September 15, 2022.

Military troops rendered full military honors to PBBM during his arrival at Headquarters, 6th Infantry Division based at Camp Siongco, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Cotabato City 2 p.m. Thursday. He was received by Western Mindanao Command Chief, Lt. Gen. Alfredo Rosario, Jr. together with Joint Task Force Central Commander, Maj. Gen. Roy Galido and other officers and staff of the division.

PBBM then delivered his message to the troops where he expressed his pleasure for the opportunity to be able to have an in-person conversation with the Kampilan troopers. He also urged them to support the peace process.

“If you can keep the peace in your area, then that will be a big help for our peacekeeping process,” PBBM said. “I am very happy for the opportunity to be with you on this historic day. Keep up the good work that I know you have been doing. Although your roles may have changed I know you will adjust and you will excel as you always do.”

In his visit to Joint Task Force Central, President Marcos, Jr. was accompanied by the AFP Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente Bacarro, and other military officers.
