Western Mindanao Command Chief, Lt. Gen. Alfredo Rosario, Jr., commended the efforts of Joint Task Force Zamboanga to prevent terrorists and lawless elements to thrive in the peaceful communities of Zamboanga.

“I congratulate the members of JTF Zamboanga under the leadership of Col. Randolph Rojas for a job well done. You have sustained the peace and maintained the city’s record of zero bombing and zero kidnapping during my stint as the WestMinCom Commander. Allow me to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you,” Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. stated


Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. paid his farewell visit to the troops of JTF Zamboanga a week before his official retirement. JTF Zamboanga Commander, Col. Randolph Rojas and his staff welcomed the retiring WestMinCom Commander during his arrival at the unit headquarters at Camp Enrile, Malagutay, this city at 10 a.m. Tuesday (September 27). He was given a foyer honor by the officers and personnel of JTF Zamboanga.


WestMinCom's Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff for Operations, Col. Jessie Montoya; Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff for Civil-Military Operations, Col. Wendell Basat; and Deputy Chief of Unified Command Staff for Intelligence, Maj. Jonas Mendoza accompanied Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. during his farewell visit to JTF Zamboanga.
