WestMinCom Commander pays farewell visit to his former units of assignment

Retiring Commander of Western Mindanao Command, Lt. Gen. Alfredo Rosario, Jr., made a farewell visit to the 7th Infantry Division (7ID) and 7th Military Intelligence Battalion (7MIB), both based in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on September 12, 2022.
 
The 7MIB was one of the significant units he led during his younger years as a senior officer, while the 7ID was his unit of assignment prior to his current post. In his arrival at Headquarters, 7MIB based at Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. was received by Lt. Col. Elmer Villanueva, the Battalion Commander.

He then proceeded to the 7ID at 10:30 a.m., same day. He was received by the Division Commander, Maj. Gen. Andrew Costelo. Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. shared his best practices and boosted the morale of soldiers during his talk to troops held at the Kaugnay Hall of the Division located at Fort Magsaysay. 
 
Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr., a member of the Philippine Military Academy “Maringal” Class of 1988 assumed as the WestMinCom Commander on September 23, 2021. His mandatory date of retirement is on October 5. 
 

During his farewell visits to the different military units, Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Lorna Flauta Rosario.
