Retiring WestMinCom Commander makes farewell visit to Tabak troopers

Amid his forthcoming retirement, Western Mindanao Command Chief, Lt. Gen. Alfredo Rosario, Jr., paid a farewell visit to the troops of Joint Task Force ZamPeLan on September 17, 2022.
 
The officers and enlisted personnel of “Tabak” Division rendered battalion-sized military honors to Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. during his arrival at Headquarters, 1st Infantry Division based in Camp Sang-an, Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. He was received by Brig. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete, the Joint Task Force/Division Commander, and the commanders of all the brigades and battalions under Joint Task Force ZamPeLan.

In his message, Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. thanked the troops for their dedication and commitment to service and commended them for all the remarkable accomplishments of the division during his tenure. 
 
He also urged them to maintain the same zeal as WestMinCom continues to work for lasting peace and progress in Southern Philippines. He also shared his mantra, the 5Ps, which are his guiding principles to success. 
 
During his farewell visit to JTF ZamPeLan, Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. was accompanied by his 102nd Infantry Commander Brig. Gen. Leonel Nicolas and the Unified Command Staff. 
 
Lt. Gen. Rosario, Jr. will be officially retiring from the military service as he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 56 on October 2022.
