Brig. Gen. Edgar Cardinoza, Commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Health Service Command visited the Western Mindanao Command on November 17, 2022, purposely to pay a courtesy call on WestMinCom Acting Commander, Marine Brig. Gen. Arturo Rojas.
The officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources rendered company-sized military honors to the distinguished visitor during his arrival at the command at 10 in the morning Thursday. Brig. Gen. Rojas and his Command Staff received the distinguished visitor at the Laong Laan Hall located at Camp Navarro, Calarian, this city.
Brig. Gen. Cardinoza checked on the status of the military health facilities inside Camp Navarro including the Veterinary Service Center, Camp Navarro General Hospital, and Dental Service Center. Col. Nanette Provido, Chief of the Health Service Center-Western Mindanao briefed Brig. Gen. Cardinoza with the capabilities as well as the issues and concerns of the military hospitals within the WestMinCom area of operations.
“It is good that the AFP Health Service Command Chief was able to check on the health facilities here at Camp Navarro. We expect that all the issues and concerns will be addressed for the hospitals to be able to provide excellent medical care to military personnel and civilian human resources of the AFP, including their immediate dependents,” Brig. Gen. Rojas said.
